The advice came as Abraham was offering Egbuson tips on how to achieve box office success with his films. She drew from her personal experience, having openly supported and campaigned for President Bola Tinubu during the last general election.

“The first advice I will give you in my entire life is don’t put your mouth in politics,” Abraham stated. “Don’t tell them you’re supporting anybody. Don’t support anybody, just be on your own. Be neutral.”

Her warning follows a period of public backlash. Earlier this year, Abraham expressed distress after her latest film, “Ijakumo (The Born-Again Stripper),” was reportedly pirated and widely shared on platforms like WhatsApp.

This occurred after many social media users had pledged to boycott her movie due to her political stance.
