The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, Moshood Jimoh, has decorated six senior officers recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), urging them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and discipline.

He also praised the Nigeria Police Force and the Police Service Commission for sustaining a transparent and performance-driven promotion system.
The AIG warned that the new rank comes with increased expectations and responsibilities, particularly in maintaining law and order across Lagos and Ogun states.
“This promotion is not a time for comfort but a call to greater responsibility. The expectations from the public and the leadership have increased, and you must rise to the occasion,” Jimoh stated.
