The Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, Moshood Jimoh, has decorated six senior officers recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP), urging them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and discipline.

The decoration ceremony took place at the Zonal Command headquarters in Lagos, where the AIG described the officers’ elevation as a reward for years of dedication and service.

He also praised the Nigeria Police Force and the Police Service Commission for sustaining a transparent and performance-driven promotion system.

The AIG warned that the new rank comes with increased expectations and responsibilities, particularly in maintaining law and order across Lagos and Ogun states.

In response, the newly promoted ACPs expressed appreciation for the recognition and pledged to justify the confidence reposed in them.
