First time in history, Chelsea set to visit Lagos

Chelsea Football Club has announced it will host its first-ever official fan event in Lagos, Nigeria, this May.

The event is part of the club’s global fan engagement initiative, “The Famous CFC,” and will feature former Chelsea and Super Eagles star Victor Moses.

The weekend-long event in the vibrant Nigerian city marks the penultimate stop of the 2025/26 season for the international program. It aims to strengthen the connection between the club and its passionate global fanbase.

This season, the program was expanded to include more cities, allowing a greater number of supporters to participate in exclusive gatherings.

Fans attending the Lagos event will be treated to a variety of activities, including a live watch party for a key match as the season reaches its climax.

The highlight for many will be a special Q&A session with Victor Moses, offering a unique opportunity to interact with the former player. Attendees will also have the chance to win signed club merchandise.

Moses, a celebrated figure among Chelsea supporters, was a key member of the squad that lifted the 2016/17 Premier League title.

He also enjoyed a distinguished international career with Nigeria, making his debut for the Super Eagles in 2012.

His achievements for his country include winning the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations and representing Nigeria at the 2014 and 2018 FIFA World Cups before retiring from international football in 2018.
