The Department of State Services (DSS) has brought former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai before a Federal High Court in Abuja, facing accusations of intercepting phone conversations of National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu.
On Thursday, El-Rufai was presented in court with an amended five-count charge, an increase from the initial three counts following a prosecution update.

The allegations arise from remarks El-Rufai made during a February interview on ARISE Television, where he claimed that Ribadu’s phone had been tapped, allowing him to listen to alleged instructions given to security personnel concerning his arrest.
