The Credit Risk Intern will support the Credit & Portfolio team across key areas:
- Counterparty assessment and credit underwriting
- Portfolio monitoring and risk management
- Financial modelling and reporting
“This internship is designed for analytically strong individuals who want to build a solid foundation in private credit and contribute directly to addressing the significant financing gap in Nigeria’s agriculture sector,” a Sahel Capital spokesperson noted.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The firm is targeting highly motivated candidates with strong quantitative skills, ideally pursuing or holding a degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields.
Proficiency in financial modelling and Excel is essential, while any exposure to credit analysis, banking, investments, or the agribusiness sector would be an advantage.
