39 Teams Confirmed for 2026 Bet9ja Ogun State U-19 Football League

The Ogun State Football Association, under the leadership of Chairman, Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi, on Friday conducted the draws for the 2026 Bet9ja Ogun State U-19 Football League, which is scheduled to kick off across the state on Monday, May 18, 2026.
A total of 39 teams have been confirmed for this year’s competition following a significant increase in participation.

The tournament will feature 36 male teams and three female teams competing for honours in the youth championship designed exclusively for non-league clubs and players under the age of 19.

Teams confirmed for this year’s tournament include Chosen Generation FC, Samba FC, Oluwole FC, Yewa United, Mission Soccer FA, Emirates 1609, TPD Western Boys, Encore FA, Achievers FC, alongside several other promising sides from across the state.

Speaking after the draws, Chairman of the Ogun State Football Association and Executive Board Member of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Alhaji Ganiyu Majekodunmi, assured participating teams of a well-organised and hitch-free competition while urging players and officials to maintain discipline and uphold the spirit of fair play throughout the tournament.

Alhaji Majekodunmi also expressed appreciation to the management of KC Gaming Network, owners of Bet9ja, as well as Hon. Kunle Soname, for their consistent support towards the growth of youth football in Ogun State.

Also present at the draw ceremony were board member of the Ogun State Football Association, Elder Biodun Odejimi, Chairman of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA), Ogun State Chapter, Coach Victor Agbagu, who was represented by Mr. Adamson, retired referee, Alhaji F.A. Yusuf, Secretary of the Ogun State Football Association, Pastor John Adeleke and Secretary of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Ogun State Chapter, Mr. Segun Folarin.

Matches will be played at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta, Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu, Dipo Dina Stadium, Ijebu Ode, and Gateway International Stadium, Ilaro.
The opening fixture of the tournament will see Encore Football Academy take on Emirates 1609 at the MKO Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta, on Monday, May 18, with kick-off scheduled for 9am
