Thamani Initiative is a non-governmental organization committed to uplifting women, young people, and promoting inclusive and sustainable development across communities, particularly in Bauchi State and surrounding areas. The recruitment drive aims to strengthen the organization’s capacity to deliver high-impact programs.

Available Positions and Responsibilities

• Finance OfficerThe successful candidate will support the organization’s financial management processes, including budgeting, financial planning, record-keeping, reporting, and compliance. This role is critical to ensuring transparency, accountability, and the efficient use of resources.
• Programs Officer: The Programs Officer will assist in the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of development programs centered on women and youth empowerment, community engagement, capacity building, and sustainable development projects.

Eligibility Requirements

Interested candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related fields.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Demonstrate strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills with keen attention to detail.
• Show a strong commitment to volunteerism, community engagement, and social development.
• Be willing to learn, adapt, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
• Previous experience in NGOs, volunteering, or community-based projects is an added advantage.
