To ensure swift responses to emergencies, the Schools Protection Squad has established a dedicated hotline and WhatsApp contact number, 08077357777, for around-the-clock reporting.
The police assured citizens that trained SPS operators are available 24/7 to handle distress calls, coordinate prompt response actions, and ensure timely interventions when school safety is compromised.
This initiative comes in response to ongoing fears regarding student kidnappings and assaults on educational institutions throughout the country, with officials hopeful that enhanced reporting and rapid response practices will mitigate incidents and improve the overall safety of students across Nigeria.
