Mrs. Abubakar was freed during a military operation by the 17 Brigade in Tunga Village, where troops confronted the abductors as part of ongoing efforts to dismantle criminal groups in the region.

Describing the rescue as a demonstration of the professionalism and bravery of security personnel, Tinubu noted that her safe return is a relief for her family and all Nigerians.

“The safe return of Hajiya Amina Rabe Abubakar brings comfort to her family and to all Nigerians. We owe our gratitude to the troops who put their lives on the line every day to ensure our safety,” he remarked.
