“Without Tinubu’s leadership, the infrastructure in Lagos would have deteriorated,” says Musiliu Obanikoro

Former Minister of State for Defence and Senator Musiliu Obanikoro praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the bridge’s restoration, calling it a first-rate effort that averted the collapse of essential infrastructure in Lagos.

Obanikoro emphasized that the Tinubu administration has invested heavily in infrastructure, with the Third Mainland Bridge’s rehabilitation standing out as a key accomplishment.

“Had President Bola Tinubu not intervened, much of our infrastructure in Lagos might have failed. The world-class rehabilitation of the Third Mainland Bridge is undeniable; we’ve never seen this kind of work done in the country before,” Obanikoro stated.
