Requirements
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth as defined in the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria 1999
- Male or female between the ages of 23 and 27 by 10th January 2027
- Medically and physically fit according to Nigerian Army standards
- Minimum Second Class Lower degree or HND not below Lower Credit in Arts, Sciences, or Humanities from an accredited institution
- Only tertiary academic credentials obtained from 2018 to date will be considered
- Must possess a valid NYSC discharge certificate (civilians) or NYSC exemption certificate (military personnel)
- Valid birth certificate endorsed by the National Population Commission, Hospital, or Local Government Council
- Valid certificate of state of origin
- Civilian applicants must be recommended by at least 2 recognisable referees who are either Local Government Chairmen/Secretaries or Army officers not below the rank of Lieutenant Colonel
- Must submit a Letter of Attestation from their degree-awarding institution
- Minimum height: 1.68m (male), 1.65m (female)
- Must not have been convicted by any court of law
- Must not be a member of any cult or secret society or fraternity
- Must not have body inscriptions or tattoos
- Must have all original copies of educational certificates (primary to tertiary)
- Service personnel: must have served a minimum of 5 years in the Armed Forces and present valid military identity cards, letters of recommendation from Commanding Officers, and valid sponsorship letters from tertiary institutions attended
