Beyond the recruitment exercise, the meeting addressed broader issues including grassroots governance, public safety, and preparations for upcoming elections. The SSG highlighted that local government scribes play a pivotal role in maintaining stability by closely monitoring developments at the community level, communicating challenges to council chairmen, and escalating urgent matters to the state administration.
