Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Design multi-step scientific tasks involving modelling, simulations, quantitative analysis and computational experiments.
- Evaluate how AI systems solve scientific problems in physics, chemistry, materials science and related disciplines.
- Translate scientific research workflows into challenging, reproducible tasks that AI agents can complete using a Linux terminal.
- Apply Python programming and terminal-based workflows to develop and test scientific tasks.
- Use scientific research knowledge to assess the accuracy and effectiveness of AI-generated solutions.
Requirements
To qualify for the Braintrust Physical Sciences Expert AI Training opportunity, applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Strong background in experimental physics, chemistry, materials science or a related scientific research discipline.
- Practical knowledge of Python programming and Linux terminal workflows.
- Experience with scientific modelling, simulations or computational research.
- Ability to design reproducible, multi-step technical tasks.
- Strong analytical and scientific problem-solving skills.
- Must reside in one of the eligible countries: Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt, India, Brazil, Colombia, Bangladesh or Türkiye.
