Addressing the youth directly, he said, “If you think you want to be a delegate so that you can make money, you have to have a mind reset. If you think you have a God father who will impose you on people during primaries, you have to have a chance of mind reset. If you think you will go and borrow money or loot some money somewhere to come and buy primaries, you have to have a mind reset. This is a new Narrative.”

Rufai made it clear that the ADC youth wing is not fixated on who will become the party’s presidential candidate, but rather committed to ensuring that the process is clean, transparent, youth-driven.

Expressing gratitude to those standing with him, he said: “I am very happy you’re here with me; pledging your support. In Sha Allahu, I will not let you down.”
