“The match against Naija Ratels is a big match, and I’m willing to give my all because I’m an attacker, and I’m supposed to score,” she said.
Despite facing her former teammates, Saliu insists she will remain focused and professional during the game.
“Yes, I will celebrate against my former team, but in a positive way. Football is not a game of emotions,” she explained.
Kick-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, with Rivers Angels aiming to replicate their previous 2-0 victory over Naija Ratels.
In past head-to-head encounters, Rivers Angels have maintained a strong record, securing four wins and one draw, while Naija Ratels is still seeking their first triumph against the Rivers-based side.
