Boxer Anthony Joshua Involved in Fatal Crash on Lagos/Ibadan expressway

 

World-renowned boxer Anthony Joshua was involved in a serious road accident earlier today along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway near Makun, Ogun State. The crash resulted in the deaths of two individuals.

According to eyewitnesses, Joshua’s vehicle, a Lexus Jeep with the license plate KRD 850 HN, collided with a stationary truck. Preliminary reports indicate the two fatalities occurred at the scene.

Anthony Joshua was rescued from the wreckage and sustained only minor injuries, as confirmed by rescue officials who responded to the incident. The accident occurred near the Danco Filling Station.

Adeniyi Orojo, who was part of the rescue mission, provided initial details to reporters. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.

Fans have flooded social media with messages of support and concern for the boxer following the news. Efforts to obtain further official commentary from TRACE Commandant Akinbiyi Babatunde were unsuccessful at this time.
