European Union Graduate Traineeship Programme 2026 – Open to Nigerian Graduates

• Duration: Up to 6 months
• Start Date: July 2026
• Location: EU Delegation to Nigeria, Abuja (Political, Press and Information Section)
• Monthly Stipend: Approximately €700

Key Responsibilities (Typical for PPI Section)

• Supporting political reporting and analysis
• Assisting with press and information activities
• Organising meetings and public diplomacy events
• Preparing reports, briefings, and communication materials
• Contributing to EU-Nigeria and EU-ECOWAS cooperation initiatives

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a Nigerian citizen
• Currently reside in Abuja, Nigeria
• Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
• Have less than one year of professional work experience after graduation
• No prior significant work experience within EU institutions
