The European Union Delegation to Nigeria and ECOWAS has opened applications for its Funded Traineeship for Young Graduates (Graduate Traineeship Programme 2026) in the Political, Press and Information (PPI) Section.
This is an excellent opportunity for young Nigerian graduates to gain valuable hands-on experience in diplomacy, international relations, policy analysis, communication, and public diplomacy within a prestigious international organisation.
Programme Details
- Duration: Up to 6 months
- Start Date: July 2026
- Location: EU Delegation to Nigeria, Abuja (Political, Press and Information Section)
- Monthly Stipend: Approximately €700

Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Nigerian citizen
- Currently reside in Abuja, Nigeria
- Hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)
- Have less than one year of professional work experience after graduation
- No prior significant work experience within EU institutions
