The Turkish champions will host the English giants at RAMS Park, heading into the fixture with confidence after securing a 1–0 victory over rivals Beşiktaş in the league over the weekend.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Osimhen acknowledged the challenge Liverpool presents but maintained that his team is prepared for the contest.

“A win would of course, give us extra support and confidence; however, we also need to keep our feet on the ground. Liverpool are a very big and very ambitious team,” Osimhen said.

The Nigerian striker also pointed to the importance of playing in front of the passionate Galatasaray supporters, suggesting it could give his side an edge.

“Playing at home could be an advantage for us. If we play a better game in front of our fans, taking lessons from this match, I believe we can get a good result, even if it won’t be easy,” he said.

Osimhen concluded by stressing the demanding nature of Europe’s top club competition while reaffirming the team’s determination to perform strongly.

“Every match in the Champions League is already very difficult,” he added.
