The allegations surfaced on Thursday when a user on the platform X, formerly known as Twitter, operating under the handle @Femzydr1, claimed the actress was involved in prostitution and connecting aspiring actresses with politicians and movie industry executives.

The user further alleged that Badmus, who serves as the Special Assistant on Social Events and Public Hearings to the Speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives, obtained her position through this illicit network.

The post accused her of exploiting young women, suggesting they were used by political figures.

In a swift response, Badmus publicly refuted the claims on her own X account and declared her intent to involve law enforcement.

Sharing a screenshot of the accusation, she wrote, “This is the attention you’ve been craving for, so let’s get into it. This is a false accusation and the authorities will step in. Let it be known that we don’t forgive in this zone.”

This incident echoes a similar situation from approximately three years ago when a woman named Oge publicly accused the actress of being a professional pimp.

Following her arrest, Oge later confessed that she had been paid N200,000 to defame Badmus.
