“I am trying to be as perfect as Jesus. I have a close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit, and it doesn’t come with me only being in church,” she stated.
“God says let it be unto you according to your faith. I have found a way that works for me.”

Starr noted that this approach of being more spiritual than religious is what currently suits her, but she remains open to the possibility that her perspective could evolve in the future.
In the same interview, the music star also revealed her expansion into the film industry. She confirmed that she began her acting career last year, with her debut movie scheduled for release sometime this year.
