Lekki LCDA Chairman, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali, has praised the successful and peaceful Eyo Festival, while extending New Year wishes of peace, health, and prosperity to Lagos residents.

As the year draws to a close, the Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has expressed gratitude to Lagosians for a peaceful and successful Eyo Festival, describing the event as a proud showcase of the state’s rich cultural heritage.

According to the Lekki LCDA boss, the festival once again highlighted the depth, resilience, and uniqueness of Lagos culture, bringing together history, tradition, and communal harmony.

He noted that the Eyo Festival remains a powerful symbol of unity and identity for the people of Lagos, reinforcing the values of togetherness and cultural preservation.

Engr. Kasali extended appreciation to the Lagos State Government, festival organisers, security agencies, and all stakeholders whose collective efforts ensured the smooth and orderly conduct of the event.

He acknowledged that the peaceful atmosphere recorded throughout the festival was a testament to effective coordination and the cooperation of residents and visitors alike.
