The team is riding high on confidence after a 5-0 thrashing of Heartland Queens, in the match day seven, with strikers Abasiofon Uwah and Ramotalahi Kareem leading the league’s top scorers chart.

Tosan Blankson expressed confidence in his team’s readiness to secure a victory against Ekiti Queens on Wednesday.

“Our preparations have been meticulous as usual. Both players and technical staff are primed for the challenge ahead. We know they would come fully out against us but we are ready to absolve whatever they throw at us.”

Head coach , Tosan Blankson is optimistic about his team’s chances, emphasizing that there’s no room for complacency and a win will be a perfect birthday gift for him as he adds another year on Wednesday.

“My girls will want to give me a perfect birthday gift on Wednesday by securing the maximum points,” he said.

The match between Ekiti Queens and Rivers Angels will take place at the MKO Abiola Stadium Abeokuta, by 4pm. on Wednesday.
