Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has extended his congratulations to the outgoing Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun, for his exemplary service to the Nigeria Police Force and the nation, following President Bola Tinubu’s acceptance of his resignation.
The governor also congratulated Mr. Tunji Disu, the newly appointed Acting Inspector-General of Police, expressing his belief in Disu’s capacity to deliver focused and effective leadership during a critical period in the country’s security situation.

Abiodun emphasized that rebuilding public trust in the Force, advancing professionalism, utilizing technology for crime detection, and reinforcing internal discipline should be key elements of the new IGP’s leadership agenda.
