In his remarks from the pulpit, he referenced the biblical story of those who ridiculed David and faced swift repercussions, drawing a spiritual comparison. He stated that anyone who tries to hinder the Hallelujah Challenge is risking divine retribution, adding, “If you don’t want to watch it, just ignore it.”

He highlighted the significance of praise by quoting Genesis 49:10, pointing out that “Judah is a lion” and that “the scepter shall not depart from Judah.” He believes that the movement encounters opposition due to its immense power.

He also cautioned against spiritual forces that might interfere, saying, “The devil and his minions are on notice. Let us serve our God in peace.”

Pastor Bassey ended his message by encouraging believers to stay strong and steadfast in their faith.
