Speaking at the services, Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed his faith in divine guidance, expressing confidence that the year ahead would bring improvement across sectors.

“Lagos will continue to make progress. It shall be well with all citizens. This will be a glorious year,” the governor said.
He urged Nigerians to remain hopeful and united, stressing that faith and collective effort are key to overcoming national challenges.
The governor called on citizens to rally behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, encouraging support for the administration’s bold economic and social reforms aimed at repositioning the country.
According to him, sustained public cooperation is essential for achieving meaningful and lasting development.
In a reflective moment, Sanwo-Olu acknowledged the temporary nature of political office, noting that leadership is ultimately about service and legacy.
“I will continue to count my days; I have only one January first left in office. No position is permanent,” he said.
Despite the challenges of governance, the governor vowed resilience and determination.
“We will never give up, no matter the challenges. Nigeria will be greater,” he added.
During his visit to the mosque, Sanwo-Olu encouraged public servants and workers to demonstrate greater dedication and professionalism in their duties.
He also led prayers for President Tinubu, his family, and all Nigerians, seeking peace, unity, and prosperity for the nation.
