We are in better position than Kenya and other African nations — Tinubu 

During his visit to Bayelsa State, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu discussed topics such as infrastructure development, economic reforms, and the collaboration between the federal government and state governments.

He mentioned that projects like the Yenagoa city road are designed to enhance accessibility, improve urban mobility, and support broader development.

In light of economic challenges, he acknowledged the strain of escalating fuel costs but encouraged Nigerians to stay optimistic, stating, “Yes, I hear concerns from various sectors of the economy. The fuel price is indeed a burden, but let’s take a moment to thank God that we are better off compared to others. Just listen to what people in Kenya and other African countries are experiencing.”

He underscored that these initiatives are not solely about infrastructure; they also create jobs, benefiting many individuals such as water suppliers, welders, and concrete mixers.

Tinubu promised ongoing federal assistance for development initiatives and advocated for stronger collaboration between federal and state governments.

He expressed gratitude for the warm welcome he received and commended the support during his visit.
