Stressing that security is a collective duty, Oyebanji indicated that sustainable peace hinges on genuine collaboration among communities, local stakeholders, and security personnel, particularly through timely intelligence sharing and coordinated actions.

He expressed gratitude to the Special Adviser on Security Matters, the Commanding Officer of the 148 Battalion, the Commissioner of Police, the State Director of the Department of State Services, and other security and local vigilante bodies for their commitment and professionalism.

To address cross-border crime, the governor is also conducting strategic discussions with Local Government Chairmen from border communities to improve inter-state security cooperation.

State officials affirm that the administration is dedicated to continuing the offensive until criminal networks are dismantled and peace is fully restored throughout Ekiti.
