The postponement, according to a statement issued by the Chief Executive Officer of Sportsville, Frank Ilaboya, is to allow for full attendance following some awardees and dignitaries’ engagement in the nation’s capital on the same 28th.

“We realize that the earlier March 28th date is no longer feasible due a pressing national assignment in Abuja which most of the awardees and invited dignitaries are also involved.

“To give opportunity to most of the dignitaries invited for the ceremony, we have to move our date forward by one week,” Ilaboya further explained.
