In a notice issued by the branch secretary, Mr. Daniel Ikikiru, the meeting is slated for May 3, 2026, at 48 Yaya Crescent, Olodi Apapa, Lagos, by 3:00 p.m.
The notice, made available to members, indicated that discussions would centre on final arrangements for the anniversary event, including logistics, levy payments, venue selection and committee reports.
Top on the agenda is also the presentation by the womenβs team on the purchase of anniversary wrappers, alongside strategies for event sensitisation and invitation of guests.

Financial matters are expected to take centre stage, with members set to review dues, levy payments and address the issue of outstanding debtors as part of efforts to ensure a hitch-free celebration.
The meeting will further receive updates on activities lined up for the Okpe Day celebration scheduled for May 16, as well as reports from the unionβs headquarters.
In a significant development, the notice disclosed that a former President General of the Okpe Union Worldwide, Arc. Sir Ralph J. Karieren, will be in attendance, underscoring the importance attached to the meeting.
Also expected to preside over proceedings is the branch chairman, Mr. Paul Ilaye, who, alongside other executive members, is expected to steer deliberations towards successful execution of the anniversary programme.
The union urged all members to attend promptly, emphasising the importance of collective participation in delivering a memorable milestone event.
