The General Manager of Barau Football Club, Dominic lorfa, has led a team of foreign football experts to inspect the Dambatta Stadium, constructed by the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin.

The foreign delegation, comprising experts from the United Kingdom, Turkey, and Egypt, aims to collaborate with Senator Barau Jibrin on further renovations to upgrade the facility to standard.

lorfa was accompanied by Abubakar Abubakar Dan Fulani, Coordinator of the Nigerian U-20 Flying Eagles, Abdul Adamu, and the Barau FC Secretary, Abubakar Jibrin.

It will be recalled that the foreign experts earlier witnessed Barau FC’s match against El-Kanemi Warriors, demonstrating their commitment to scouting talented players for opportunities abroad.

The delegation also paid a visit to the club’s Grand Patron, Senator Barau Jibrin, with plans to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with both the club and the Senator to promote football development.

The Dambatta Stadium, built by Senator Barau Jibrin, is still undergoing development and requires further upgrades to meet international standards.

This collaboration with foreign experts is expected to accelerate its completion of the Dambatta Stadium, the home ground of the Maliya boys.

Senator Barau Jibrin has already constructed 13 stadiums across local government areas in Kano North as part of his commitment to sports development in Kano State and Nigeria at large.
