The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Culture and Tourism, Hon. Eyiwumi Muka Ray, made this known in a statement issued in Ilorin, describing the event as a unique gathering designed to bring together residents, families, fun seekers, and visitors in a peaceful and lively atmosphere.
In his words, the initiative reflects the commitment of the administration of Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq to supporting programmes that encourage social interaction, showcase local creativity, and strengthen the state’s entertainment and tourism sector.
According to him, this year’s edition will feature a blend of music, games, cultural performances, food and relaxation spots, talent showcases, recreational activities, and other engaging experiences carefully curated to deliver a memorable Eid celebration for attendees.

Hon. Muka Ray emphasized that Ileya Groove has continued to grow into one of the state’s key festive attractions, assuring residents of a well-organised and enjoyable experience for people of all ages.
