“As a Public Health Practitioner and Apex Youth Leader across Epe Division, I have seen firsthand how fragmented grassroots engagement weakens our ability to translate government policy into real impact at the community level,” he said.

He explained that THEDSF was established to unite progressive stakeholders across Epe Division under a common objective.

He added, “My conviction is simple: Epe Division must speak with one voice and act with one purpose to secure its rightful share of development and political relevance.”

The DG noted that the platform brings together youths, elders, professionals, and community mobilizers to strengthen support for both President Tinubu and Deputy Governor Hamzat.

Supporting the Renewed Hope Agenda

GMO described the current political period as crucial, stressing that the Renewed Hope Agenda requires strong grassroots structures to ensure effective communication and implementation.

He added, “This is a critical time. The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu and the developmental vision of Deputy Governor Hamzat require structured, aggressive, and deliberate grassroots backing to succeed.”

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has graciously anointed a governorship candidate from Epe, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, who is a son of the soil. That is why we have formed this divisional solidarity for the duo,” he added.

According to him, THEDSF aims to bridge gaps in voter education, community mobilisation, and policy awareness throughout the division.

Youths at the Centre of the Movement

GMO identified young people as the backbone of the movement, describing them as the largest voting bloc and the most dynamic force for political and social change.

He added, “If we lose the youths, we lose the future of the movement. In Epe Division, young people are not just supporters; they are influencers, organizers, and innovators.”

The organisation also intends to connect youths with training opportunities, mentorship programmes, and government initiatives that can enhance their personal and professional development.

“Our goal is to make every young person in Epe Division see themselves as a stakeholder in the Tinubu-Hamzat project and give them the tools to act on it,” GMO stated.

Expressing confidence in the group’s growing influence, the THEDSF Director General said the movement is already positioning itself for future electoral success.
