Iran has launched another drone attack targeting the U.S.-used Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, pointing to a fresh escalation in the ongoing Iran–U.S. conflict.

According to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the strike targeted drone hangars, a fuel depot, and military helicopters as part of the 56th phase of Operation Nasr-2. Iranian state media claims significant damage was inflicted on the base.
However, those damage claims have not been independently verified, and neither the U.S. military nor Kuwait has confirmed them.

Kuwait authorities have confirmed that the air raid sirens were activated and that air defense systems engaged hostile drones over the country, including near Al-Jahra.
This latest attack comes less than 24 hours after President Donald Trump warned Iran that any further attacks on U.S. forces would be met with a powerful response, following a fresh wave of U.S. airstrikes on Iranian targets.
Iran’s decision to strike again despite Washington’s public warning signals that Tehran is, at least for now, unwilling to be deterred by U.S. threats. Whether the United States retaliates again could determine whether the conflict remains a cycle of limited exchanges or expands into a much broader regional war involving more Gulf states.
