Local law enforcement units from Victoria Island were on hand to maintain order while LASTMA teams cleared the damaged vehicle from the road, preventing further gridlock or secondary collisions along the busy coastal route.

Reacting to the tragedy, LASTMA General Manager Olalekan Bakare-Oki extended heartfelt sympathies to the family of the deceased victim. He issued a stern warning to drivers against overspeeding and reckless behavior behind the wheel, reminding motorists of the catastrophic risks linked to losing control on high-speed corridors.
