The reception, held at the Presidential Banquet Hall, was filled with music, cheers, and admiration as the team was welcomed home after a stunning 3-2 comeback victory over host nation Morocco on Saturday night.

Super Falcons arrival at the Villa

The Falcons, led by tournament MVP Rasheedat Ajibade, arrived at Aso Rock shortly before 4:36 p.m., conveyed in two coaster buses and warmly received by Femi Gbajabiamila, Chief of Staff to the President.
