Kimiebi Ebienfa, the ministry’s spokesperson, emphasized that Nigerians of different faiths have coexisted, worked, and worshipped together peacefully for a long time.
While he acknowledged Nigeria’s appreciation for global concerns regarding human rights and religious freedom, he pointed out that the allegations are misleading and contradict the government’s continuous efforts to foster peace and unity.
Ebienfa reiterated, “Nigeria is dedicated to combating terrorism, enhancing interfaith harmony, and safeguarding the lives and rights of all its citizens under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”
