In a statement released on behalf of the club, the Technical Director, Akinshola Akinrele, popularly known as Baba Arigo, described Christmas as a significant period that commemorates the birth of Jesus Christ and offers an opportunity for reflection and gratitude.

Akinrele encouraged Christians to reflect on the joy of the season and to promote harmony within their families and communities.

“We at 36 Lion Football Club wish the Christian community a joyful and fulfilling Christmas,” he said.

He further congratulated Christians on the celebration and called on them to uphold the spirit of togetherness, unity, and sportsmanship, values he noted align closely with the ideals of football and community development.

“May this time bring you good news as we reflect on the true meaning of the season,” Akinrele added.
