The role will support the Group Managing Director and leadership team by providing financial insights, driving project cost management, developing financial models, and strengthening financial systems to support operational excellence as we scale across multiple construction projects and developments.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and supervise the finance team, ensuring efficiency, accountability, and high performance.
• Oversee daily finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, treasury, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports, management accounts, and performance analysis for executive leadership.
• Manage liquidity, cash flow, internal transfers, settlements, and vendor payments across projects.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability, ensuring effective cost control across construction and real estate developments.
• Develop financial models, forecasts, variance analysis, and support budgeting for ongoing and proposed projects.
• Build and maintain strong financial controls, workflows, and treasury processes.
• Ensure accurate financial record-keeping and full compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee timely remittance of taxes, pensions, and other statutory obligations.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, consultants, and regulatory bodies as required.
• Collaborate with project, procurement, operations, and leadership teams to validate expenditures and support strategic decision-making.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth, operational excellence, and investment decisions.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in construction or financial institutions; experience in banking or insurance is an added advantage. Professional certifications (ICAN, ACCA, CFA) are an added advantage.
• Strong analytical ability and experience in multi-bank/multi-currency finance
• Proficiency in Excel/financial modelling.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent knowledge of financial controls, reporting, and compliance standards.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
