Responsibilities:

Creative Ad Strategist – The Rundown

• Research historical ad performance, Meta Ads Manager data and competitor ads.
• Identify winning hooks, patterns and creative angles.
• Develop ad concepts, hooks and scripts for different formats.
• Produce and launch light-edit ad creatives.
• Build AI-powered creative workflows for ideation, production and testing.
• Manage creative campaigns across Meta, Google, X/Twitter and newsletter placements.

AI Educator

• Test new AI tools, models and workflows.
• Create and publish educational videos, lessons and tutorials.
• Deliver educational content consistently and on schedule.
• Host live office hours and answer member questions.
• Provide feedback on student work.
• Turn AI discoveries into guides, courses and workshops.

Guide Editor

• Edit talking-head and screen-share recordings into clear tutorials.
• Remove repetition, false starts and unnecessary content.
• Create motion graphics, screen callouts and transitions.
• Perform audio, colour, spelling and visual quality checks.
• Follow briefs and brand references without guessing where information is unclear.
• Deliver review cuts and final masters on schedule.
• Maintain organised Premiere Pro and After Effects project files.
• Communicate progress, capacity and delivery timelines.

Thumbnail Designer

• Design 2 to 3 A/B-tested thumbnails every weekday.
• Write SEO-optimised titles and descriptions.
• Collaborate with media and content teams on visual storytelling.
• Analyse performance metrics and optimise creative decisions.
• Maintain consistency across visual assets.
• Source and enhance images using professional editing and AI tools.
• Upload final thumbnails, titles and descriptions on schedule.

Head of Content

• Own editorial quality across AI, Tech and Robotics newsletters.
• Maintain consistent brand voice across newsletters, social channels, guides and shows.
• Oversee editorial quality for sponsored newsletter takeovers.
• Develop new shows, formats and editorial systems.
• Design and lead the content team.
• Recruit and hire editorial talent.
• Manage team development, onboarding and performance.
• Lead weekly editorial meetings and track KPIs.
• Coach writers and editors to improve content quality.

Scriptwriter/Researcher – Astrum Earth

• Fact-check scripts, animations and edits for science-focused YouTube content.
• Research reference materials for scripts.
• Provide feedback and improvement suggestions to writers and editors.
• Source relevant images and video footage.
• Verify the accuracy and authenticity of visual materials.
• Ensure sourced materials comply with copyright and usage requirements.
• Research existing and new content ideas.
• Research and write scripts for Astrum Earth.

Requirements:

Creative Ad Strategist – The Rundown

• Proven copywriting and scriptwriting experience.
• Ability to demonstrate previous successful scripts.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Hands-on basic ad production and editing skills.
• Daily experience using AI tools for creative work and workflows.
• Strong understanding of advertising hooks and creative performance.

AI Educator

• Strong interest in AI and daily use of AI tools.
• Ability to create on-camera educational content independently.
• Strong curiosity and willingness to explore emerging AI tools.
• Ability to explain complex AI concepts clearly.
• Open to AI generalists and specialists.
• Teaching, coaching, mentoring or educational content experience is an advantage.

Guide Editor

• Strong portfolio of educational, product-demo, creator, SaaS or YouTube tutorial work.
• Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
• Experience with Dynamic Link, MOGRTs and Media Encoder.
• Familiarity with Frame.io, Slack and Descript.
• Experience editing presenter footage, screen recordings and motion graphics.
• Strong quality control and attention to detail.
• Reliable workstation and internet connection capable of handling 4K media.
• Interest in AI, technology and digital media.

Thumbnail Designer

• Strong digital design portfolio.
• Excellent copywriting and English language skills.
• Experience designing and A/B testing YouTube thumbnails with 100k+ view performance.
• Strong understanding of performance analytics.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented.

Head of Content

• Experience as a senior editor or managing editor at a publication, newsletter or media brand.
• Daily use of AI tools for research, drafting and fact-checking.
• Strong knowledge and interest in AI.
• Ability to write in different voices and maintain editorial consistency.
• Experience developing new content formats.
• Strong ownership, autonomy and team leadership skills.

Scriptwriter/Researcher – Astrum Earth

• Degree or strong background in science, physics, geology, palaeontology or a related field.
• Writing experience in science articles, blogs, newsletters, magazines, scripts or similar formats.
• Excellent attention to detail and critical analysis skills.
• Interest or experience in science communication and public outreach.
• Strong interest in geology, meteorology, palaeontology and science.
• YouTube production or scientific archive research experience is an advantage.
