He praised the armed forces and security agencies, especially the Nigeria Police Force, for their efforts in ensuring safety, while urging them to enhance investigations and bring those responsible for the killings to justice.

“You must uncover and apprehend the perpetrators,” Tinubu emphasized, noting the attendance of the Inspector-General of Police, the Chief of Army Staff, and the Minister of Defence during his visit.

Reflecting on past political challenges and shared national goals, he underscored that leadership should prioritize progressive development and enhancing citizens’ quality of life.

“Our earlier promise was to foster development and raise living standards for our people, not to mourn lives lost, but to advance progress,” he stated.

Tinubu also announced the intention to broaden a federal committee to include the Governor of Plateau State and the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs to assess damages and offer support for victims.

“While we can never replace a lost life, we will do whatever we can to provide some comfort,” he concluded.
