Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Political Science, International Relations, Sociology, Statistics, Development Studies, Journalism, or a related discipline
- Must be currently serving under the NYSC programme or about to commence service
- Strong research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with data
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and synthesise information from multiple sources
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good time-management and organisational skills
- Curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn
- Previous research, writing, data analysis, or internship experience is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct desk research and gather information from credible sources
- Collect, organise, analyse, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data
- Support the preparation of research reports, briefs, presentations, and other analytical outputs
- Monitor current affairs, policy, security, economic, political, and social developments
- Assist with interviews, surveys, field research, and other data-gathering activities
- Review and verify information to ensure accuracy and reliability
- Support project teams with research and analytical tasks
- Contribute to the development of insights and findings from research
- Maintain proper documentation and records of research activities
- Perform other research and analytical duties as assigned
