Here are last-minute Halloween costumes that’ll make it look like you spent weeks preparing.

1. A Classic Witch

You can never go wrong with the timeless Halloween witch costume. All you need is a black dress and a pointy witch hat. To elevate the look, go all in with dark lipstick, winged eyeliner, and smoky eyes.

Carry a broomstick or mop for that classic witchy vibe, and if you want to go gothic-glam, add lace gloves or a cape.

2. A Vampire

Vampires are Halloween royalty, simple yet dramatic. Wear black clothes, slick back your hair, add red lipstick, and dab a bit of fake blood on your mouth.

A long coat or cape, red contact lenses, and a goblet of “blood” (red juice) seal the look.

3. A Nurse

Own a white dress or scrubs? You’re halfway there. You can go spooky with fake blood and smudged makeup, or keep it clean with a polished, classic look. Add a stethoscope, gloves, or a DIY red-cross badge for detail.

4. Kim Possible

A perfect choice for millennials and Gen Zs alike. Pair a black crop top or turtleneck with green cargo trousers and a brown belt.

Add black gloves and combat boots. If you don’t have cargo pants, go all black for a “spy” version with dark sunglasses and a toy gun or earpiece.

5. Mary from Sinners / Carrie from Carrie

Two horror icons, one unforgettable look, the blood-soaked dress.

Wear a silky pink or white dress, a tiara, and a “Prom Queen” sash. Then splatter fake blood across your hair and outfit. It’s creepy, simple, and instantly recognisable.

6. Betty Boop

For something cute and retro, channel cartoon bombshell Betty Boop. Slip into a red mini dress, red heels, and hoop earrings, and wear a curly bob wig. Top it off with red lipstick and long lashes for that vintage pin-up charm.

7. Gogo Yubari from Kill Bill

A cult-classic fan favourite! Wear a white shirt, pleated mini skirt, knee-high socks, and a navy blazer. Add fake blood on your cheek and carry a toy weapon (chain or mace). You’ll look both cute and dangerous.
