Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience supporting workplace operations, employee engagement, facilities management, and organizational activities within a mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day management of office facilities, including maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and general office operations.
Assist with the setup and administration of training rooms, events, meetings, and programmes.
Create engaging content for the Humans of LEAP Africa social media page and manage training room bookings and related social media activities.
Support procurement activities through market research, vendor sourcing, quotations, and price comparisons for administrative items.
Provide professional reception support by welcoming visitors, responding to enquiries, and coordinating incoming and outgoing deliveries and phone calls.
Assist with the organization and monitoring of office supplies, inventory records, stock levels, and issuance of items.

Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and availability of kitchen supplies, toiletries, refreshments, and other workplace essentials.
Support employee welfare and engagement initiatives, including staff celebrations, gifts, meeting setups, and other employee-focused activities.
Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient office operations.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.

0–1 year of relevant experience in administration, facilities management, office operations, people support, social media support, customer service, or a related area.

Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a people-oriented approach.
Basic knowledge of inventory management, vendor coordination, front desk support, and office administration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant administrative tools.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to work.
Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Experience supporting events, meetings, employee engagement, or staff welfare activities will be an added advantage.
