Femi Gbajabiamila, who is the Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, has emphasized the importance of the National Assembly continuing to engage with young Nigerians and other key stakeholders in the legislative process to foster inclusive governance.
He made these remarks on Tuesday during the 2026 National Assembly Open Week in Abuja.

Gbajabiamila highlighted that it’s essential for citizens to comprehend how laws are developed, how public funds are allocated, and how legislative oversight serves to safeguard the nation’s interests.
‘People should be able to see how laws come together, understand the allocation of public resources, and recognize how legislative oversight plays a role in protecting what’s best for the country,’ he stated.
