Lekki LCDA Chairman sustains monthly Food Palliatives program

The Executive Chairman of Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), has continued his commitment to easing the economic burden on residents through the council’s monthly food palliative initiative.

Since its introduction in 2023, following the removal of fuel subsidy, the program has remained a consistent support scheme for vulnerable groups across Lekki LCDA.

In line with tradition, food items were distributed this month to beneficiaries, with particular attention given to the aged, widows, and other residents struggling with the high cost of living.

Engr. Kasali noted that the council remains determined to cushion the effects of inflation and economic hardship, stressing that the initiative will continue as a regular monthly activity.
