“To have approximately 30 people, including a pregnant woman, killed in such a manner indicates that human life is losing its value,” Abioye remarked. “Our government must take responsibility; the citizens have nowhere else to turn.”
The former Vice President of Living Faith Church Worldwide also shared his distress over heartbreaking videos depicting vulnerable individuals, like children and the elderly, fleeing violence on motorcycles.
Abioye warned that this crisis could potentially impact everyone, including those in positions of power, emphasizing that leadership must entail visible accountability. “Leadership is not just a title; it is a responsibility. Those in authority need to take action now,” he asserted.
