Onuachu wins Turkish Super Lig player of the month award

Trabzonspor striker Paul Onuachu has been named the Turkish Super Lig Player of the Month for October.

According to BSNSports.com.ng, the Nigerian forward beat eight other nominees — including Rafa Silva, Andre Onana, Milan Skriniar, Marco Asensio, Orkun Kokcu, Ederson Moraes, Wilfred Singo, and Davinson Sanchez — to clinch the award.

Onuachu scored two goals and provided an assist in three league matches during the month, helping Trabzonspor maintain an unbeaten run with two wins and a draw.

The 31-year-old has been in exceptional form this season, having already claimed the Goal of the Month award twice. He has now netted seven goals and recorded one assist in 11 league appearances for the Black Sea Storm.
