Portable claims N40 Million payout for celebrity boxing match against Carter Efe

Controversial Nigerian street-pop artist Portable has announced he received a N40 million payment to participate in a celebrity boxing match against popular streamer Carter Efe.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, the singer confirmed his participation and revealed the initial payment. He also stated that prominent figures Soso Soberekon and E-Money have each pledged an additional N50 million if he emerges victorious against his opponent.

“I have received N40 million from the organisers,” Portable declared in the video. “They paid me the money just for accepting to fight Carter Efe. I’m very sure that I will defeat him.”

The challenge gained momentum after Soberekon initially offered a N50 million prize to the winner, prompting Carter Efe to formally accept the fight.

In a separate video on his own social media page, Carter Efe confirmed his readiness and urged the event organisers to set a date for the highly anticipated bout.
