The controversy involving Nigerian singer Simi has intensified, with the Lagos State Government confirming that the issue has been sent to the Commissioner of Police for a preliminary probe.
This announcement was made by Lola Vivour-Adeniyi, Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency (DSVA), during an interview on Channels Television’s Morning Brief on Thursday, February 26.

It is believed that some of these incidents may have occurred at a daycare run by her mother,” she added. Vivour-Adeniyi emphasized that prosecuting Simi would be challenging without a complainant and encouraged alleged victims to come forward. “It will be quite difficult to pursue legal action against Simi without a surviving victim.
