RBK installs 400 solar streetlights across eight communities in Lekki LCDA

The Lekki Local Council Development Area (LCDA), under the leadership of Chairman Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (RBK) has commissioned over 400 solar-powered streetlights across seven communities in the council area.

The benefiting communities include Ilagbo, Origanrigan, Idata, Olomowewe, Itamarun, Otolu, and Shiriwon.

The solar streetlights are a major step toward improving infrastructure and public safety within the LCDA.

Speaking about the project, Chairman Bamidele expressed his delight at the project, stressing that the initiative was part of his administration’s vision to improve residents’ welfare while embracing renewable energy solutions.

“I am delighted to provide solar streetlights for our community. This initiative aims to enhance safety, promote sustainability, and improve the overall quality of life for our residents. This is just one of the many steps we’re taking to build a better Lekki, and I’m proud to lead this effort,” RBK said.
